- Anatomy of lateral canthus

Upper and lower lid meets and makes acute angle this is called
lateral canthus.
Eye can maintain this shape with lateral canthus
tendon. It comes from inferior and superior crus and joins
(Common tendon). It is 1mm thick, width is 3mm and length is
5mm. It is extended with aging or after lower blepharoplasy

01.Tight feeling : It disappears within a month but rarely it last up to a year

02.Surgery site must not have any shock, lateral canthus tendon could be stretched if eyes are shut too tight.

03.Patient need to take anti-biotic pills for 5 days.

04.Stitch will be removed 7-10 days after operation.

01.Feeling tight : Generally it disappears within a month but sometimes it last more than a year.
